Calgary Rose Society - Membership
The CRS has about 100 members, all from within and around Calgary, Alberta.
What does the Calgary Rose Society offer its members?
- information for novice and experienced rosarians on growing roses in and around Calgary;
- regular meetings (six times throughout the year) with seminars on all aspects of growing roses;
- Open Rose Gardens - a chance to see other members' gardens during the summer and be inspired!
- access to the Society's library of rose books and videos;
- chances to show off your home-grown roses: we have green thumb contests at our seminars and don't forget the Rose Show during the summer!
- six copies of the Rose Round-Up, our newsletter, with informative articles on growing roses in Calgary.
- Thursday evening members only sale of mini roses before the public sales on Friday and Saturday of the Mother's Day weekend.
- Discount on both tender and hardy, full size, own root roses ordered through MORE (Members Only Rose Event). Orders taken each fall and delivered in the spring.
- Discount on the purchase of the book "Growing Roses in Calgary", written and published by the Calgary Rose Society.
How you can join:
- Our membership form is now online! Click the link below to open the form in another window - print it, fill it out and either mail it to us or bring it to one of our events! You will need a copy of Adobe Reader (click below and follow the links).
- You can also pick up the membership form at any of our events, including the mini-rose sales, the CHS Garden Show or our regular meetings.
- We can mail you the membership form through Canada Post - e-mail us with your house address and we'll mail the form to you. It should arrive within 1-2 weeks.
