Calgary Rose Society 2012 Annual Show

Our 40^th Annual Rose Show will be held on July 20^th-21^st at North Hill Shopping Centre. The North Hill Shopping Centre is located at 14^th Street and 16^th Avenue NW. The show is staged in the center of the Mall just a minute's walk from the Food Court.

Registration will take place on the evening of Friday, July 20^th from 10 am to 6 pm. All displays, roses and arrangements must be entered and staged between 10 am and 7 pm on Friday. The judging of the exhibits will take place on Friday evening beginning at 7 pm sharp.

All of the entries will be on display on Saturday, July 21^st during the regular mall hours of 9 am to 6 pm. Please stop by to view all the winners and to vote for your favorite fragrant rose! Rose society members will be on hand to answer questions. Remember we love to talk roses!

What is a rose show? It's really an excuse to get together for some friendly competition, talk roses and enjoy ourselves! You can also win ribbons or trophies for your own roses and arrangements. Anyone can enter!

Any and all entries are welcome - you do not need to be a CRS member (unless you want one of those trophies).
All roses must be grown outside by the Exhibitor and planted prior to June 15, 2012, with the exception of the roses used in the arrangement section.
There are 127 classes to enter, covering hybrid teas, floribundas, grandifloras, polyanthas, english and shrub roses, miniature roses, and rose/flower arranging.
